What is usually considered a refreshing and necessary human activity is «murdered» by Macbeth after he commits his heinous crime. Neither Macbeth nor his wife has the capacity to rest after killing Duncan. Macbeth's sleep disorders makes him a brutal killer; Lady Macbeth starts to sleepwalk and unintentionally reveals the source of the woman stress through her nightly babble. Additionally, Macbeth gains an almost inhuman strength and courage after his first crime. He's more courageous in crime than he has ever held it's place in virtuous deed, which will be indeed strange.
A second theme in Macbeth is the fact that of the tragic hero. A tragic hero is a character that the market sympathizes with despite his/her actions that will suggest the contrary. Macbeth, in spite of his terrible murders, is a pitiable guy. His saving grace usually he would not initially want to destroy Duncan but later on changed his brain after listening to their spouse. Furthermore, Macbeth internally suffered because he cannot enjoy their royal status. Fear, paranoia, fatigue and insomnia plagued him despite his sovereignty. Lady Macbeth can be a tragic hero. The woman initial courage and bold would not final long, and she quickly deteriorated into a delusional, hapless somnambulist. She broke straight down mentally and actually due to the stress of this criminal activity. Macbeth and their wife are pitiable figures since the reader has the capacity to follow their every thought and action.
